Recommendations and instructions for crossing the state border for EU citizens

We cannot wait to welcome you to our beautiful country and are dedicated to keeping you, our people and other visitors as safe as possible, so you can explore with peace of mind.
 
To support this we ask that you fulfil and evidence 1 of the following 7 criteria to be allowed access to Croatia.
 
7 entry requirement options:
 
- EU Digital COVID Certificate
 
- A negative PCR (taken 72 hours before arrival at the border) or antigen test taken (48 hours before arrival).
 
- Vaccination certificate confirming the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine used in EU Member States. Exceptionally in the case of Janssen or Johnson & Johson a certificate confirming receipt of a single dose more than 14 days before arrival.
 
- Proof of recovery from Covid more than 11 days and less than 180 days ago.
 
- Proof of recovery and first dose of vaccination more than 11 days and less than 7 months ago.
 
- Pay for a test on arrival and remain in self-isolation until a negative result.
 
- Confirmation of receipt of the first dose of Pfizer, Moderna or Gamaleya (when travelling between the 22nd and 42nd day of receipt), or AstraZeneca (when travelling between the 22nd and 84th day of receipt).
 
 
A few things to note:
 
- All tests taken and used as supporting evidence of a positive or negative result must be recognized by European Union.
 
- All children under the age of 12 are exempt from providing test results should their parent or guardian fulfil the requirements.
